The FPS Alumni Network is comprised of past participants of the program, stretching back to when future problem solving was first started in 1974 by Dr. E. Paul Torrance. Annually thousands of high school FPSers graduate across the world, adding to the community of FPS alumni who are innovators, scientists, doctors, entrepreneurs, as well as leaders in government, academia, and business. Over the past 45 years, FPS has made a difference in the lives of students and their communities, so reconnect and renew your passion for problem solving. FPS is an international family, so we encourage FPS alumni from other regions now living in New York to connect with us!

Call To Action

VOLUNTEER: NYFPS connects with alumni so that they can share their experiences with the next generation of FPSers. There are amazing opportunities to reconnect with old teammates, former competitive opponents, and acquaintances. As Senior Division students move on to college and life beyond FPS, alumni have the opportunity to return to NYFPS as a mentor, volunteer, or evaluator. Evaluators are essential to helping provide feedback to participants throughout the school year as they complete submissions to the competitive components. You can get involved today by learning how to volunteer as an evaluator.
